Brenda Novak Auction in its Last Days

Just want to remind everyone, there are only a few days left to bid in this auction for a wonderful cause, diabetes research.  I went and perused the categories looking for items that might be of special interest to SFR Brigaders.  Some are even bargains.  Check them out!

First of all, the Brenda Novak Mentorship Writing Competition is a very exciting offering for writers. Enter this contest to win one-on-one mentorship time with the NYT best-selling author. There are a host of notable judges and the top three entrants also win a read by agent Laurie McClean. What a dream for SFR writers!  And yes, Futuristic/SFR is a subgenre that's eligible to enter.  I just received an affirmative on that in an email from Ms. Novak herself.  Winners announced November 15th.  At $50, this is one amazing opportunity and the same as or not much more than entering a major contest, with a whole lot more bennies (in addition to helping a worthy cause).
