Draw Me A Harduk

A New Contest in Honor of Romenel's June Launch:

This is a fun one, inspired by our friend Morgan and the desire to create a fan art page for my site. From bits and pieces of description in Marya, she drew a picture of a not-terribly-pleased Marya riding a harduk. Her vision (which I'll withhold during the contest so we don't influence your vision) may not match yours.

So here we go:

The prize:

An e-copy of your very own of
Romenel: Voyage Into Twilight (with that gorgeous Missy Lyon's cover)
The rules:

  • Read Marya. In order to know what a harduk is, this is a must.
  • Draw me a harduk. This could be a generic harduk, or a specific one (Windflower, Moondancer, whichever one you please.)
  • Artistic talent is not a must to win. I'll be picking a random winner from the entries. This is just for fun.
  • Please specify if you'd rather not see your artwork up on the fan art page once the contest ends.
  • email your image to me (jpeg's are nice, but I'll take anything) to ravenesperanza@yahoo.com
The duration:

Send me your drawings, collages, photoshopped images, etc. between now (5/22) and June 25th.

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

  1. How fun! :)

I'm not much of an artist--unlike some of my talented peers here--but I may give this a shot.

Thanks for making the deadline a month out.

  2. PS Sandra, what's the release date? We need to get this on the SFR Brigade calendar.

Laurie - it still looks like it's on the schedule for a 6/3 release.
