Note From Liana: Guys, I will be on leave from the Brigade from mid-December until mid-January. Any Brigade Library updates sent after December 10th will not be added to the library until late January/early February.  If someone volunteers to be the Brigade Librarian for that time frame we will post an announcement here and on the FB page.

Thank you for understanding.

Also...

Several authors have noted that their books have won certain awards when they send them to the library. Would we like to note this in the library, make a separate page for award winning SFR books, or avoid mentioning awards all together?

How should we address award winning books?
	Label it in the library.
	Make a new page.
	Both.
	Neither.
Other - I'll explain in the comments.

If your book is in print, please include cover art (600X900 is fine) and a one sentence blurb/teaser/pitch. We're still working on the formatting for the SFR BRIGADE IN PRINT page, so this will go up slower, please be patient with us.

P.S. If your book is in print format and you'd like to be added to the SFR Brigade In Print page please let me know. We're trying to figure out the format for that, maybe something with buy links? I'm very open to suggestions.

If your book is coming out before March 2013 and you would like to schedule a cover release, release day party, or other SFR Brigade fun around your launch, please talk to our calendar coordinator Pippa Jay Green. My goal is to have the library updated before December 1st so we can promote SFR Brigade books over the Holiday season. After all, books are the perfect gift!

New Librarian!

Brigade, please welcome Greta van der Rol! She has graciously stepped forward and offered to take over the duties of librarian while I lose my mind this summer. I've promised her that being the Brigade librarian isn't all that scary, and that we'll all help her as best we can.

Greta writes SFR, historical romance, and is an amateur photographer. She says, "I love writing science fiction with a large dollop of good old, healthy romance. I live not far from the coast in Queensland, Australia and enjoy photography and cooking when I’m not bent over the computer. I have a degree in history and a background in building information systems, both of which go a long way toward helping me in my writing endeavours."

Be sure to drop by her blog and tell her thank you for volunteering!

Librarian Wanted

As you've all noticed by noticed by now the SFR Brigade library remains outdated. This little thing called life tripped me up and got in the way. I feel guilty and horrible because I know there are Brigaders waiting for promotion for their books, but the fact is I can't do it alone.

Right now the Brigade needs some assistant librarians. It isn't an in-depth task, you just need some free time to type in names and add the hyperlinks. If we had enough librarians we could actually use the SFR Brigade tag on Amazon (hint hint - use the tag!) and add books without hunting down the authors. The alternative is letting authors added books to the library on their own.

Really, all we need is a few volunteers with an hour or so to spare to help split the list and get everything updated. If you're interested please email Liana at liana (dot) brooks1 (at) gmail (dot) com

Thank you!
Liana

SFR Brigade Library Updates

NOTE: If you have previously published books not yet listed in the library, please fill out this form. If you have multiple titles that fall under one sub-genre and heat rating (like a series)you can list them all with commas between the titles.

**ETA** The question about advertising on the SFR Brigade blog through tag parties and other options is not letting authors pick multiple options, please list them under "other" while we get this bug sorted out. Thanks!

Time To Update the Library

It's the end of the year, and we're doing some tidying around the SFR Brigade. If you'd like your work listed in our library you can either add it yourself, or email Liana Brooks on the SFR Brigade website.

For published work we need: title, buy link, genre, and heat rating

For upcoming work we need: title, release date, genre, heat rating - if you have a link or cover art you'd like to include that would be great too.

If your work is already listed in the library, please check to make sure the link works! There are a few where the links are broken or take the reader to the publisher's main page.

Happy New Year and Happy Writing!

Updating the Library

After a long hiatus I am once again brushing the dust off of our library page and getting it updated. Thank you for a stiff kick in the pants from Kim Knox who sent me an excellent list complete with links.

If you want your book on the library page I need:
- title
- author name
- genre (see the library for details)
- heat level

If you have a new release or an upcoming release I need all of that, release date, and I'll try to grab the cover image from your webpage. If you don't have a link or cover yet, that's fine. If you don't have a link but you do have a cover that we can use, please send that to me.

The easiest way to get everything to me is by logging onto the SFR Brigade member website and sending me a message.

SFR Brigade Library Update

Hello, Earthlings!

I'm still trying to get the library up and running. I've seen posts this week for some fantastic new books, but I'm not getting the e-mails with the stats in. I can't add your title to the library if I don't have the following information:

The title, the name it's published under, the genre, and the heat level.

If you have a link to where Brigade members can buy the book, so much the better.

Recap:

Title by _________ Link (genre/ sensual - hot- erotic)

The more links I get, the more books get added to be TBR pile. :o)

SFR Brigade Library

Authors, we're working on getting the library up and running. The poll is HERE if you're interested in adding your vote.

We are currently looking at sorting the titles by genre (all SFR but SFR/military, SFR/comedy, ect) and by heat levels within the genres.

If you have a published SFR novel, e-book, or short story available to buy or read on the web and would like to display it on our virtual library shelf please send me an e-mail liana(dot)brooks1(at)gmail(dot)com.

Include the title, the name it's published under, the genre, and the heat level.

If you have a link that you can include, so much the better. If you don't, no worries. Right now we only want your SFR works, if you have other published pieces that are not SFR, we'll save that for an expanded library.
