The sign up for the very first SFR Brigade Presents event is now open! Please enter your name (or your blog name, but not both please), your URL to your blog (or better still, direct to your post) and your email so that I can contact you if there's a problem. If you make a mistake or decide not to take part later, you can delete your own link. This list will close as soon as we have 20 participants, and/or at the end of Friday 1st February. Posts need to be live from then onwards. If you need to see an example of what you should be posting, go here - The SFR Brigade Presents Example. The guidelines are -
1. A paragraph from a WIP, or a current or forthcoming novel (maximum 200 words). You do not need to be published to take part!
2. Have your post live from the end of Friday 1st Febraury and with SFR Brigade Presents in your title or post somewhere to help identify it.
3. Help promote the event as a whole (you can use the hashtag #sfrbp) and try to visit and comment on the other participants posts. Note - this is not intended as a critique group unless the participant actively asks for and encourages critical feedback.
4. Keep it simple. Keep it fun.
Any questions, just shout!

How do we go back and change the URL later to go directly to the post?
i made it to the list first time this time. getting better.
You can't, you can only delete your post and re-enter until it closes. After that, you can't change it at all. If you set up your post beforehand and just save it, you should be able to copy the permalink and enter that as your URL. When your post goes live, the permalink will lead directly to your post.
Updated my link. Come tomorrow, it should go directly to the post. =)
Yay, this is fun! Thank you for doing this. I put a link in that is scheduled for posting on Feb. 1 at 3pm Eastern Standard Time. It should be live by the time this is posted. Thanks again!
Is there an HTML code so we can post the list of names directly into our posts?
Kyndra, I would just link back to this post, which is how SSS did it - otherwise I'll have to send out a new code every week. I need to keep the admin minimal on this.
Fun to read *all* SFR snippets. I'm posting tomorrow with the Weekend Writing Warriors 8 sentence hop, couldn't get my act together to have the post ready on Feb 1st. But I did enjoy reading everyone's excerpts today over here!
I couldn't get the link to Melisse or Rachel's snippets!
