Thursday Tag Party for 5/26/11!

Bacteria Use Caffeine as Food Source. Scientists recently discovered bacteria that can survive solely by consuming caffeine.*snort* Silly scientists. Writers have been doing this for decades.

For our Tag Targets this week, we have someone who I'm pretty sure is not a bacterium - Jennifer Hart!

First time Tagging? We promise to be gentle. (No! Put that down! I said gentle!):

* Go to the Amazon buy page (I've included the links below)

* Scroll down to the Tags Customers Associate with this Product header

* Look for these tags: SFR, Scifi Romance, SF Romance, Science Fiction Romance and Paranormal Romance - please feel free to add any extra tags you feel are appropriate to the work (i.e. Space Opera, Military SF, etc.)

* Don't forget your SFR Brigade Tag!

* If the tags are already there, just click o
n them to add your 'vote'

* If not, type them int
o the 'your tags' box to add them (no need to save the page, just type and add)

* Don't forget the "Like" button at the top of the page!

For a list of past Tag Party books, come on over to the Book Launch and Tag Party Books page. Tagging is always welcome.

On to our Tag targets for this week!

  1. Weird. I could find the tags for the not-yet-released book, but not for the released one. I'll try again later.

  2. Yeah, I don't know why the tags are MIA on Stellar Timing. They were there yesterday. TY Sandra and Marva!

  3. I tagged and "liked" where I could--but it seems to me that Kindle books no longer have tags. :-(

  4. It looks like tags on Kindle books have disappeared. All my tags are still on my print versions, but nada on the Kindles.

This sucks! Most releases are ebook first, if not only.

  6. Gah! Stupid Amazon~ I sent them an email to ask what the heck they think they're doing. :(

  7. From what I am hearing, Amazon has removed ALL tag for Kindle editions. I wonder if it has to do with readers tagging kindle editions as too expensive and such? Might just be a temp thing, too. But it is ALL kindle editions right now.

  8. I'm wondering now if they do come back, if all the previous tags we've done will be deleted. OMG!

Maybe we should do a letter writing campaign to Kindle. Anyone have their email handy?

  9. The thing I don't get is why Amazon would do it? They didn't like the agency model either, though maybe they've made money off it. Its just a theory, though. Possible the tags will come back and yeah, they could be gone pecan. sigh.

  10. It's actually more likely because the tags have an impact on the ranking that someone complained about the "popular kids" getting bumped up by tags instead of purchases or positive reviews. The Kindle boards are all aflutter about the ranking.
