What Liana said.
ReplyDeleteBella, I can only see the cover for Hunters of the Red Moon by Marion Zimmer Bradley I wonder if it's just my computer being finicky though. I'll head over to io9 to take a look.
ReplyDeleteROFL - this is a great collection of covers. All of the Edgar Rice Burroughs kitsch school, heh. I have 2 editions of Perelandra, one of the most amazing, thought-provoking works ever written, and have never seen this, um,cover. It's an oddly campy thing for such a serious work, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw cover of Hunters of the Red Moon I said, "Cool!" Then I looked closer. LOL. Heyyy...*my* copy didn't have that cover. LOL.
ReplyDeleteGreat old covers.
Ewwww! For the love of Spock, if you're gonna show a naked butt make it a good one. That guy's as flat as a pancake. Ever check out male gymnasts' butts or male sprinters? Hmmm?

ReplyDeleteSOS the Rope?
The guys with beards look my Dad when he was younger. Creepy and wrong.
Will-o-wisp is the worst one. What is that chick doing naked on the back of a bug? Just... ewww! Somethings don't work. *brain bleach*
I know they may not have had much cover input, but ouch.
Interesting...
